Route

The Trail starts at the Parque Ecológico dos Pioneiros (Vivencial da Candangolândia) and passes the reversible kiln (Brasília's 1st brickworks) and Grupo Escolar 1, which was Brasília's 1st school (Centro de Ensino Médio Júlia Kubitschek). The trail continues through the city streets, in the chácara (small farm) sector (formerly Lonalândia/Sacolândia). Then you reach Brasília's 1st church, São José Operário, and return to the Park again. The attractions are the lookout and the survey marker from the construction of the capital. Following the trail, you reach the Posto Guarapari gas station (marked by the flying-saucer-shaped water tank) and enter the city, reaching Praça da Bíblia; the 1st headquarters of Novacap: the building that now houses the Administração Regional da Candangolândia; the Caixa Forte vault, located in the basement of the public library; and Praça do Bosque (where the SAPS is located). It then heads toward Praça dos Estados, the candango (pioneer worker) memorial, and the sports court, up to Vila do Sossego. Finally, the trail passes the old Núcleo de Custódia, now the headquarters of the Environmental Military Police Battalion (BPMA-DF), next to the Parque dos Pioneiros. The trail continues, signposted, around the avenue and the Park to the scouts' headquarters.
