Route

The route circles an important historical heritage site of Cubatão: the ruins of the old Vila de Itutinga, where the Núcleo headquarters stands today. You can see the ruins of the old Itutinga hospital and its annex, the homes of the former residents, the jail, the old Fábrica de Doce de Banana and the old Casarão da Vila, which is now the Núcleo's visitor center. All these buildings date from the early 20th century and were inhabited until mid-1970.
