Description

The trail is located in the Tororó Ecological Park and its main attraction is an 18-meter waterfall, with no deep pool for swimming. The trail has some signage and is accessible for seniors and children who want to walk less, as the route is only 2.5 kilometers to the waterfall and takes about 30 minutes, following the river. To access the park by car, start from QI-23 in Lago Sul, follow DF-140 towards Unaí / Minas Gerais for another 5 km, and turn right onto a dirt road. Parking costs R$ 10.00 for cars and R$ 5.00 for motorcycles.

Route

The route's starting point is off the DF-140, heading to a parking area inside the forest. From there, you can follow the site's basic signage pointing the way to the Cachoeira do Tororó. The trail passes through several Cerrado vegetation types, as well as plenty of gallery forest along the course of the river. Going down to the bottom of the waterfall requires care with the terrain. A trekking pole or walking stick and footwear suitable for wet, slippery places are recommended. The way back is the same.
