Parque Nacional das Sempre-Vivas

Description

Parque Nacional das Sempre-Vivas was named after the flowers of the same name (everlastings), which last a long time after being picked. Spring and summer are the best time to enjoy the waterfalls, but the fields of flowers are at their most beautiful in April and May. The park has no established public use, with no entrance gate or access control, and it is not very easy to find. Information about it is also inconsistent, so it is best to hire a local guide and/or visit the park headquarters in Diamantina.
