Description

Parque Nacional das Nascentes do Lago Jari is one of the best-preserved parks in the Amazon, as it has almost no access and no tourist attractions. For about 100 km, the park borders the BR-319, which connects Manaus to Porto Velho; the best time to visit is right after the rains, from May onward, when there is less dust on the roads. It is also possible to visit by boat, along the Igarapé do Jacinto, from Tapauá. Image credits: entreparquesbr Find out more at https://entreparquesbr.com.br/nascentes-do-lago-jari/
