Description
Parque Nacional da Serra do Gandarela protects water sources that supply the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area. Very close to the capital of Minas Gerais, the park has icy waterfalls that tend to be crowded on weekends. Access is via a dirt road, but a 4x4 vehicle is not needed.
