Description

Despite its name, there are no capybaras in Parque Nacional da Serra da Capivara. There is no admission fee, but the museums charge entry and a guide is mandatory to visit the park, which has very good visitor facilities. There is plenty to see and do in this park, with many trails, several museums and a lot of geology. The best time is the beginning of the year, with more rain, more greenery and less heat.
