A little about the city
Ibitirama is located in the southwestern region of the state of Espírito Santo, bordering the municipalities of Iúna, Muniz Freire, Irupi, and Brejetuba. The town can be reached mainly via the BR-262 highway. Ibitirama is surrounded by a landscape of mountains, valleys, rivers, and waterfalls, providing opportunities for outdoor activities and ecotourism. Highlights include the Parque Nacional do Caparaó, home to Pico da Bandeira, the highest point in Espírito Santo, and Cachoeira da Fumaça, one of the tallest waterfalls in Brazil. The Ibitirama area is characterized by rural properties where visitors can experience everyday life in the countryside, take part in farm activities, and learn about the local production of coffee, dairy products, honey, and other typical products of the region.
