The Visitor Center is the main reception and information space of the Pau Brasil National Park, inviting the public to begin their experience in an enriching and inspiring way. On-site, there is the permanent exhibition "The Cradle of Original Brazil," which presents the history of the contact between Portuguese and indigenous peoples that occurred in the region in 1500, as well as addressing the relationship between nature, culture, and the surrounding communities of the Unit. Through a rich iconography of fauna and flora, the space gathers paintings, naturalist maps, and a valuable photographic collection that reveals the diversity of plants and animals in the native forest. These records help visitors understand the environmental, historical, and cultural importance of the Park. More than just an exhibition space, the Visitor Center is an environment for learning, reflection, and connection, where knowledge and sensitivity come together to strengthen the commitment to conservation and respect for the natural and human heritage of the region.
